The Impaired Driving Task Team focuses on reducing serious and fatal injury crashes caused by Impaired Driving using a Safe System approach. The team brings together stakeholders from state agencies, local governments, public health, advocacy groups, private consultants, etc. to develop strategies and discuss initiatives for reducing Impaired Driving crashes.
Current Projects: At the Impaired Driving Task Team last meeting sub- committees were formed to work on individual areas concerning Impaired driving, including Law Enforcement, Media, DRE & SFST training, prosecution (Legal) etc.
Upcoming Meetings: A virtual meeting will be held July 9th, 2025, and then bi-monthly on the second Wednesday of the month. 10:30am-11:30am.
The October meeting will be held in person on October 29th in Macon GA (time TBD)
