The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) is the state agency charged with educating the public on safe driving behaviors and implementing highway safety campaigns and programs that reduce crashes and eliminate injuries and fatalities on Georgia roadways. GOHS joins with safety partners in education, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and engineering to accomplish our mission to implement life-saving programs. Georgia Highway Safety Conference participants will meet with their highway safety peers in a forum where they can share program success, learn from one another and develop alliances with professionals from all over the state.

In partnership with the TIME (Traffic Incident Management Enhancement) Task Force, we invite you to the 2023 Georgia Highway Safety Conference to learn new trends in highway safety, be motivated to stay mission-focused, and network with highway safety professionals from across Georgia.

At the 2023 Georgia Highway Safety, attendees will examine cutting-edge highway safety practices closely examining the Safe System Approach and the safety enhancements manufactured in electric and autonomous vehicles.

Call for Workshops

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety is currently seeking workshop proposals for the 2023 Georgia Highway Safety Conference. As a speaker, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with a diverse audience of transportation professionals and stakeholders.

We are looking for innovative and engaging workshops that address current trends, challenges, best practices in highway safety. If you are interested in presenting at our conference, please submit your proposal by filling out the jot form. If your proposal includes more than one speaker, each speaker will need to fill out a form. Please be sure that all speakers submit the same Workshop Topic Title. We look forward to reviewing your submissions and selecting the most compelling and informative workshops!
