Operation Zero Tolerance Kickoff: December 16, 2004

On December 16, 2004, the Governor's Office of Highway Safety with the support of organizations such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, the Georgia State Patrol, the Georgia Restaurant Association, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving Georgia staged a kickoff for the statewide holiday Operation Zero Tolerance mobilization in Savannah, Georgia. Held at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center on Hutchinson Island, the OZT Kickoff was a strong public reminder of the importance of not drinking and driving. Below are some images and commentary from the Savannah kickoff. Click on each photo for a larger image.
