On Friday, December 19, 2003, the Governor's Office of Highway Safety for Georgia had a successful kickoff of the Holiday 2003 Operation Zero Tolerance Program. Taking place at the ESPNZone in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GOHS Director Robert Dallas welcomed dignitaries from throughout Georgia, brought together in the common cause of fighting drinking and driving. Included in the crowd were former Atlanta Mayor Sam Massell, Representative Jill Chambers, Atlanta City Councilwoman Claire Muller, MADD Executive Director Christopher Noe, Paula Gwynn Grant, Deputy Chief of Staff to Fulton Chair Karen Handel, and representatives from the Georgia State Patrol, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Atlanta Police Department, Fulton County Police Department, and the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia.
