Images and Commentary from NHTSA's Law Enforcement Liasion Conference in Lexington, Kentucky On October 26th and 27th, 2004, law enforcement leaders from across the Southeast descended upon Lexington, Kentucky for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Law Enforcement Liaison Conference. The purpose of the conference was to analyze past and develop future regionwide traffic enforcement plans. Such topics as campaign branding, demonstration projects, earned media development, incentive programs, and the importance of crash data to planning and analysis were discussed in detail. Georgia, with its very active LEL program, was proud to be represented with one of the largest delegations at the conference.
