SPONSOR: MADD Georgia is the sponsor for the 2008 Georgia Highway Safety Conference Golf Tournament with all proceeds going to support their efforts in making our roadways safer. GOHS is proud of its partnership with MADD, one of Georgia’s most noted and worthwhile organizations, and appreciative of their sponsorship for this fun Conference kickoff.

Step up to the tee and take your best shot! Enjoy a day of early networking and friendly competition on Monday, August 11th at The Club at Savannah Harbor. The course lies nestled between the banks of the Savannah and Back Rivers among the abundant wildlife of the picturesque Georgia Low Country. The Club is home for The PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour, Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament and offers an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned Architect Robert Cupp in conjunction with the legendary “Slammin’ Sam” Snead. The facility was recently named one of the "Top 60 Golf Resorts in the United States" by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. In the true Troon Golf tradition, you can be assured a round at The Club at Savannah Harbor is certain to provide an enjoyable and challenging golfing experience for players of all abilities.

FEE: Fee is $75 per person. Fee includes greens fees, cart rental, range balls, and lunch. This fee should be paid separately from the conference registration fee and is the responsibility of the participant as most organizations will not cover this amenity along with your conference registration fee. Club Rentals are available at the course for an additional $50 for the round.

TRANSPORTATION: The Course is located a short walk from the Westin Hotel Facility. A complimentary shuttle service will also be available.

FORMAT: The tournament format will be a Four Man Scramble and will begin promptly at 7 a.m. (Shotgun Start). Please come to the course early to prepare for the golf tournament. TO REPEAT, THE 7 A.M. START IS FIRM AND LATE COMERS WILL BE LEFT BEHIND. Prizes will be awarded at the end of play followed by a buffet lunch.

REGISTRATION: Registration will be limited to the first 80 participants, so sign up early and please include the names of the other participants you would like to play with during the round. If you do not have any specific playing partners for this tournament, please register and MADD will assign you with a team based on your handicap and level of play.
