May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month in Georgia. This is an open invitation to all riders and enthusiasts to attend this ceremony--regardless of your affiliations or scooter preferences. Show your support for greater motorcycle awareness on our highways in an effort to save lives.

increasing motorcycle awareness

Over two-thirds of car-motorcycle crashes are caused by drivers, not by motorcyclists. The driver either does not see the oncoming motorcyclists at all or does not see the motorcyclist in time to avoid a crash. Most motorcycle crashes occur during daylight hours.

GOHS has created two new brochures dedicated to increasing motorcycle awareness: Advice to Driver and Advice to Riders. You can download these new brochures via the links to the side.
